CASTIEL
Angel by creation, seraph by rank, soldier by profession. He has existed since before humanity evolved, and has observed creation ever since. Before pulling Dean Winchester from Hell, he had not interacted with mankind for near two thousand years.
PERSONALITY
Castiel is not human, though he has a better understanding of humanity than many of his brothers and sisters. Therefore, his personality is often at least mildly baffling to people just meeting him. Ultimately, he is very well-guarded, often stoic and rarely smiles. Despite this, he does have a dry sense of humor that he occasionally displays.
